United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet would not seek a second term. Bachelet made a trip to China few months ago for which she was attacked by international NGOs supposed to be working for human rights under united nations standards and common base, but truth got clear and NGOs followed American political decision with no consideration to anything else.
Anti-China forces supposed that United Nations High Commissioner will be never welcomed in China or at least not allowed to meet and talk and visit people and places supposed to be used against Chinese Muslim minorities mainly in Xinjiang. A large number of Western officials demanded permission to visit Xinjiang and believed that Beijing would refuse the request. But Beijing agreed, and allowed whoever wanted to visit. UN High Commissioner for human rights, Michelle Bachelet visited China, from 23 to 29 May. Western governments, leaded by the United States, who said conditions Chinese authorities imposed on the visit did not enable a complete and independent assessment of the rights environment, keep criticizing Bachelet, forgetting Julian Assange, who founded WikiLeaks in 2006 later detained at London's high-security Belmarsh Prison and George Abdallah, Lebanese communist militant, the longest held political prisoner in Europe. It is extremely clear that Human Rights and United Nations are supposed to work as ‘home made’ for American political agenda and since someone didn’t repeat the American ‘cliché’ concerning Muslim Uyghur people ‘unlawfully detained, mistreated and forced to work...’ bans and punishments will come with no reason and no evidence.
Secretary of State Blinken continued to criticize Beijing for its counter-terrorism policies, if he went to China, accompanied by a huge entourage of Secret Service agents, journalists, diplomats, assistants and curious observers... Would he have succeeded better than Bachelet? Xinjiang has enjoyed greater development, social stability and greater prosperity. Beijing has achieved great success in preventing the spread of extremism in the region and deserves praise from the international community. On the other hand, in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the United States fought a series of endless wars from Afghanistan to the Middle East, destroyed countries and civilizations, robbed, kidnapped and killed innocent civilians, including children and the elderly, and did not apologize and did not care about reconstruction and development, even to a minimum.
Western propaganda directly or by using tools such as human rights NGOs and ‘yellow media’ keep attacking China regarding Xinjiang, Honk Kong, Tibet, Taiwan… They are considering human memories extremely short same as the ‘cow-boy’ history, without considerations to thousands years of culture in Asia. They are considering power and richness always coming from massacres as western countries did in Asia and Africa, they cannot understand that China civilized investments make fruits and this is time for harvest.
